Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lamlis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fisher for hire.

Personality: Hadarai is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Guard, but he was a colossal failure. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Nutae is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nutae studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
