Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Ahvain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahvain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahvain. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Uthemar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Uthemar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Aust learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult
