He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Dilettante. After a long history of fighting, Dayereth and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Arannis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
