History: He was born into a rich family. History: He was raised in a plains tribe. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Aust alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Berrian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption
