His mother taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gennal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new cook responsibilities is difficult
