Galinndan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Galinndan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theriatis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Animal Trainer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Revenge; and expand his business
