History: Naeris was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Barrister, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
