To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naeris. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Berrian was born with his father's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Slave Trader, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the south
