History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Varis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Varis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down
