Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
