History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Quarion was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Baker job and began his own company from there.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he is greedy

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Aelar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aelar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aelar. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
