History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he prefers to wear red clothing when he does not wear armor. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stableman. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To protect his home; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: Rael is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born in the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Tharivol was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Merchant father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a blue vest and prefers tan and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is short and silver. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
