Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Ahvain was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sage. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Koeth isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Theriatis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
