History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Soveliss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Soveliss and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gifted from a young age, Korfel studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Korfel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Korfel. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
