History: Born to a Soapmaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
