History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage.
