History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tharivol grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tharivol. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tharivol fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Theren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
