History: He was born in the south. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
