Lamlis was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Lamlis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Soveliss was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Soveliss's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
