In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Himo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. During his travels, Himo and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Himo discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Himo fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Quarion took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He became a Herbalist soon after.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother
