History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Erdan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Erdan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
