History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. After coming to the age of reason, Carrie took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Lucan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
