History: Raer was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Raer was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Riardon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels kind of lost in life
