He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Dreali hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Dreali hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He now owns his own business.

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
