History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Aelar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his singing dream.

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He now mingles about in high society.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Thervan's homeland. Thervan decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
