History: Thervan was born with his mother's beautiful face. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A freak accident while working with his Map Maker father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Rael was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
