His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Aelar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Aelar was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Aust was born the youngest of three triplets. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Aust took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is greedy.
