History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a Knight soon after.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
