Personality: Peren is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Peren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by his family

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
