Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Heian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Erdan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
