History: Thervan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thervan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to end his boredom

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
