History: He was born in the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: 4'11" and muscular, this northern man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His silver hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Efferil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Efferil. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He prefers to wear flannel. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Erdan embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Doctor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Erdan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he's repulsed by the pc
