History: Theren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
