History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
