Personality: Erdan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is stubborn though. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Erdan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Erdan. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Erdan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
