Personality: Aelar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
