History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Gifted from a young age, Thervan studied abroad. Thervan was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thervan decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
