History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Painter father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Quarion was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
