History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Rael alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls
