History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born to a Brewer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
