History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Aelar was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mason. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tharivol grew up listening to his father's many stories. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
