He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Laucian was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sailor. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Through the years after Korfel was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Korfel's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
