Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Galinndan's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Galinndan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Galinndan. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Nim was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nim decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Shepherd kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
