History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. He has achieved small success as a Seamstress.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: 5'3" and muscular, this northern man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Ploughman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nim grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Nim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
