One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: 4'10" and muscular, this southern man wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rolen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a grey shirt, with a pastel mid length shorts with pastel tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he's looking for his big break

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man wears bulky brown painted plate armor, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Heian enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Heian has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
