His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. Being a Adventurer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
