History: Rael was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Crown-heir and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
