History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hadarai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
