Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
