Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and money/treasure

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
